Basic Requirements for SSW Caregiver Visa

2️⃣ Educational Qualification

  • Minimum: SSC / Equivalent

  • Higher education is preferred but not mandatory

3️⃣ Japanese Language Requirement

You must pass one of the following:

Option A:

  • JLPT N4 or higher

OR

Option B:

  • JFT-Basic (Japan Foundation Test)

AND

  • Must pass Caregiver Skill Evaluation Test (Kaigo Skill Test)

4️⃣ Caregiver Skill Test (Mandatory)

You must pass:

7️⃣ Valid Passport

  • Must have a valid Bangladeshi passport

  • Minimum 6 months validity

Visa Duration

  • SSW Type 1 Visa

  • Valid for 1 year (renewable)

  • Maximum 5 years

 Family members cannot be brought under SSW Type 1.
